Caden Quintana, Brionna Giovengo and Maria Núñez have been named the Westminster Elks Teachers of the Year for the 2024-25 school year after being recognized for their exceptional work in the classroom. The trio was introduced to the Board of Education on Tuesday, April 22.
It was an emotional night filled with a lot of kind words and stories of the difference these teachers have made in the lives of their students. Every spring, the Westminster Elks asks principals to nominate worthy candidates for the honor. Not only are they recognized by the district, but the Elks hold a special dinner for them as well.
Every year What’s up WPS creates video profiles of the recipients and they are shared in April and May.
