Trey Martin  |  Tech Services, Field Tech

Originally from Texas, Trey Martin graduated from Erie High School in 2015 with a passion for IT work. “I have been the tech nerd for my family my whole life including electronics repair and IT work.”  This skill gave him the foundation that he needed to join WPS. “I just love the culture of the people in WPS. The folks we work with are so supportive and respectful. Plus, we get to take care of incredible students too!”

Years at WPS:  This is my 4th year

Favorite food:  My favorite food, hands down, is breakfast food. Even with the price of eggs!

Favorite quote:  “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”  Also, I like this one: “A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never see.”

Favorite Athlete or Sports Team:  Candide Thovex, French skier. His videos push me to be a better skier.   

Favorite Hobbies:  Skiing, mountain biking, and board games. One of my favorites is ”Betrayal at the House on the Hill”

What I am listening to:  I like all kinds of music and discovering new music. Lately, I have been into a 2010’s throwback kind of mood including old-school Bruno Mars and original Miley Cyrus.

Superpower:  Teleportation (i.e. the movie “Jumper”)

If I could make the world a better place:   I would make everyone’s basic needs be met, then they could focus on the great things in life and not worry about where their next meal will come from or where their housing needs will be met.

What has WPS meant to me:  It has been a great place for me to grow professionally and personally. The folks of WPS have been incredible to work with, because they are amazing people.

Who inspires me the most:  The teachers of WPS inspire me the most. I get the chance to support them; and they, in turn, take care of our great kids everyday. I get a ton of pride supporting our amazing teachers.
