HIDDEN LAKE SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS JOIN OTHER ADAMS COUNTY STUDENTS TO CREATE MURAL
In a remarkable display of creativity and collaboration, students from Hidden Lake Secondary School, alongside peers from just six other Adams County Schools, unveiled a breathtaking mural enriching the walls of the Adams County Government building in Brighton.

Under the direction of local artist Mollie Hosmer-Dillard, the students created their individual pieces at Hidden Lake which were combined with the other student’s work at the county building. The mural is a blending of bright blues, reds and purples.

"It really means a lot to us at Hidden Lake to be selected for this project," said Laura Seward, the Art Teacher at Hidden Lake, during her speech at the unveiling of the artwork. "Mollie saw that our students are full of promise."

Seward continued, "Students brought many issues to the conversation, including war, homelessness, addiction and loss. One common thread was that as young people, they want us to know their voices are often unheard."

"To all of you young artists," Seward concluded, "thank you for sharing your voices. Please keep creating."
