This year’s Celebrating Excellence! event will combine virtual and live events, guaranteeing a lively and fun competition for students with various interests and skills. 

The first live event will occur on Monday, February 12th, at Westminster High School from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The three categories that will occur this evening include the District Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, and the MATHCOUNTS competitions. The WPS community is invited to attend.  Our Level 00- 08 students are working hard and are excited about these upcoming competitions. 

The second live event will occur on Wednesday, April 24th, from 5:00 PM  to 8:00 PM at Westminster High School.  The exhibits for this event will include a Lego League, WHS Orchestra/Mariachi performance, and the district art show display/. Live competitions include Career Technical Education (CTE) demonstrations and Westy’s Got Talent finals (Performing Arts Competition).  The winners of the live and virtual events will be announced and receive their trophies and prizes during this event. 

As in past years, students can also compete in CE! Independent Virtual Competitions. All WPS students (Level 00- 12) are encouraged to submit a submission demonstrating their talents in music, athletics, the arts, academic research, video creation, solutions to real-world or scientific problems, and more! This year, we also have two new categories: Student Film and Innovative Solutions. Go to the CE! Website to learn more. The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2024.
