2024 TEACHERS OF THE YEAR HONORED
Maureen Barela-Wille, Anne Farrell, and Nicole Hurd have been named 2023 Westminster Elks Teachers of the Year for taking their profession to the highest level and changing the lives of their students and co-workers.
The three were honored by the Elks at a dinner last month and then recognized by the Board of Education at their last meeting. Maureen is a CLD teacher at Hodgkins Leadership Academy, Anne is a K-8 arts teacher at Colorado STEM Academy and Nicole is an English teacher at Hidden Lake Secondary School.
