Westminster Public Schools Activities
SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students up to age 18, Monday - Friday throughout the summer at multiple locations.
The school site was selected to best meet the nutritional needs of all children and each and every child is welcome! To participate, children simply need to attend one of the participating Summer Meal Programs at the sites listed below. Families do not need to fill out any forms to qualify and there are no income requirements.

HEALTHY FARMERS MARKET
Fresh produce, food products, and goods from local vendors are available for purchase. Anyone who receives SNAP, WIC, or Medicaid benefits or is at least 65 years of age will receive a $25 voucher. Community and health resources, live entertainment, and hot food. No markets the weeks of Independence Day and Labor Day.

SUMMER AT THE LIBRARY!
The Westminster Public Library has 2 locations (Irving Street and College Hill) offering a number of summer time enrichment activities to keep your kids learning and having fun year-round!
Activities include family playtime, story time in English and Spanish, crafting club, Lego club, reading to therapy dogs, Teen game days, Math and Me program for early math skills, Art Club, Gardening, Offsite story time, D&D Club, Tye Dye Face Paint and more!
The library's Adventure Pass Program provides free access to explore cultural and recreational attractions in the community such as:
- Butterfly Pavillion
- Denver Botanic Gardens
- Colorado State Parks Pass
- Firefighter Museum
- Dinosaur Ridge
- Museo de las Americas
- and more!
Anyone with a valid Westminster Public Library card can book a pass.
When you book a reservation, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a link labeled "View Pass Info." The page that displays after you click/tap that link is what you should present at the ticket desk.
Please note: some venues require a printed version of the pass instead of a digital version. Please read the pass description carefully.

CSU Spur Second Saturdays

2nd Saturdays at CSU Spur, presented by Canvas Credit Union, are free and open to the public for lots of family-friendly programming. Parking information and driving directions are available on the visit page.
REGIRAMA OUTDOOR MOVIE SERIES
Regis University is hosting their annual RegiRama outdoor movie nights at the Boettcher Commons! Bring the whole family, some snacks, and a blanket or lawn chair, and enjoy two great movies under the stars:

BUTTERFLY PAVILION
Butterfly Pavilion is the first stand-alone, Association of Zoos and Aquariums-accredited non-profit invertebrate zoo in the world. They offer unique, hands-on learning experiences in their exhibits and educational programs, summer camps and family nights.
DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE AND SCIENCE FREE DAYS
Satisfy your science curiosity during our SCFD Free Days and Free Nights. No need to reserve your Free Day or Free Night ticket ahead of time online. Walk up anytime during Free Days or Free Nights and gain access to the Wildlife Halls or our permanent exhibitions. A separate ticket is required if you'd like to visit the planetarium or our brand-new Infinity Theater.

DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE AND SCIENCE SUMMER CAMPS
Looking for something amazing for your kids to do during school breaks? At the Museum, your child will experience fun and wonder, see Infinity Theater and planetarium shows, and explore the marvels of our Museum exhibitions. Each day will be something new as we bring together our favorite camp themes and activities for 2024-2025 Science Camps!
Camps are offered for children currently in grades K - 1, 2 - 3, and 4 - 5.
- Camps Weeks of June 9 – June 13, June 23 – August 8 | $375 member | $410 nonmember
- 5-Day camps, no camps the week of July 4.
- Full Day Camps, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
DENVER BOTANIC GARDEN FREE DAYS
Registration required. Free Days are for regular Gardens hours only and do not include ticketed events. Tickets will be available three months at a time (on a rolling basis) and the tickets will be released on the 1st of the month.

DENVER ART MUSEUM FREE DAYS
A must add to your summer calendar. The museum’s global art collections represent cultures around the world, with more than 70,000 works of art in 12 collections. Check out the fascinating touring shows and art room for young students. Engage with art, explore onsite activities, and experience exhibitions on view all while enjoying free general admission to our Hamilton Building and Martin Building! Please be aware general admission does not include entry to ticketed exhibitions or entry to the Kirkland Museum. Please register in advance.
General admission is free every day for visitors 18 and under, thanks to the Free for Kids program presented by Bellco Credit Union.

U.S. MINT TOUR
Learn how to make money! The U.S. Mint can produce more than 50 million coins a day, each one stamped with a little "D" for Denver. Free guided tours show every step in the process of turning a dull, blank, metal slug into shiny pocket change. Tours are available Monday through Thursday (excluding Federal holidays). All visitors must be 7 years and older.
