Westminster Public Schools Activities

WESTY FUTURES SPORT CAMPS

WPS offers several sports camps for kids in 4th through 7th grade including: Baseball, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Softball and Wrestling. There is a $50 participation fee per sport which is charged at time of registration. Please contact Sheryl McCoy at smccoy@wps.org or 720-542-5351 if you need to arrange a cash payment. Registrations can not be completed without payment.

WPS SUMMER ARTS SERIES CAMPS

The Pipeline’s Summer Arts Series is finalized and open for registration! There are over 20 workshops to choose from and all individual days so parents/guardians can choose when they want to participate.

Dates |  May 28 – June 13 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Times |  8:30 – 11:30 AM

Price  |  $5 per work shop – workshop payment through WPS.BookTix.net

Ages  |  Levels Kindergarten through 8th – all students (in district and out of district) are welcome to register

Meals  |  Breakfast and lunch available through Summer Meals Program

SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students Monday - Friday throughout the summer at multiple locations.

The school site was selected to best meet the nutritional needs of all children and each and every child is welcome! To participate, children simply need to attend one of the participating Summer Meal Programs at the sites listed below. Families do not need to fill out any forms to qualify.

Note: All programs will be closed on July 4th & 5th in observance of Independence Day.

HEALTHY FARMERS MARKET

Fresh produce, food products, and goods from local vendors are available for purchase. Anyone who receives SNAP, WIC, or Medicaid benefits or is at least 65 years of age will receive a $25 voucher. Community and health resources, live entertainment, and hot food. No markets the weeks of Independence Day and Labor Day.

WATER WORLD BELLY FLOP COMPETITION

Water World’s annual Belly Flop Competition returns on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, 2024!

Up to (20) contestants will flop for the chance to win the $1,000 Grand Prize. Contestants must register in advance using the form on the website; walk-ups will only be accepted in the event that registered contestants do not check in by 10:30am on June 16.

All participating contestants will receive free entry to the park, with a complimentary Meal Plan, on June 16, 2024.

Contestants must be 21 years or older with a signed waiver.

Learn how to make money! The U.S. Mint can produce more than 50 million coins a day, each one stamped with a little "D" for Denver.
