Welcome back WPS families!
We are excited to help you register for the 26/27 academic school year.
Who should register as a returning family?
Families who live in our district boundaries and want to continue at their same WPS school for the next academic year.
Families who live in our district boundaries and need to choose a new WPS school because their student has reached the highest grade level at their current school. (Example- 8th graders who need to choose a high school or 5th graders who need to choose a middle school or PK-8).
Families who live outside our district boundaries but are already attending a WPS school this year and wish to return.
New families are welcome!
We are excited to welcome new families into our Competency Based System. If you live in WPS boundaries, your child is guaranteed a spot in their neighborhood school.
Who should register as a new In-District family?
- Families who live in our district boundaries and want to enroll their student(s) for the first time in a WPS school. (Ex. A family that has recently moved to our district.)
- Families who live in our district boundaries and want to enroll their child in Preschool or Kindergarten for the first time in WPS.
- Families who live in district and want to move their student from another district (JeffCo, Adams 12 etc.) to enroll their student in WPS for the first time.
Do you live out of district?
No problem! WPS is an Open Enrollment district, which means any family, no matter where they live, may apply to enroll in one of our schools. Acceptance is based on program availability and transportation is not provided.
