Bus Routes & Schedule
Registration Required
To be considered for Transportation Services, families must complete a 2025-2026 Bus Rider Registration Form each school year. Westminster Public Schools strives to accommodate as many eligible riders as possible; however, transportation availability may vary based on student needs and staffing levels.
Registration for transportation services typically opens in July, with route assignments beginning in August. Please note that completing the registration form does not guarantee an assigned route. Instead, registration helps the Transportation Department develop accurate bus routes and maintain an up-to-date list of eligible riders for each bus.
Limited Space
Transportation availability may be limited, and Westminster Public Schools is working diligently to serve as many eligible students as possible. We appreciate our families’ partnership and encourage those who are able to transport their students or make alternate arrangements to do so when feasible. Your flexibility helps us ensure safe and reliable service for students who need it most.
In-District Students
Students who live within Westminster Public Schools district boundaries and/or outside the walking area of their assigned neighborhood school will receive priority for bus route assignments. Families can look forward to finding bus stop locations and pick-up times posted in the Transportation tab of their student’s Infinite Campus account beginning each August.
Walking Distance and Out-of-District Students
Students who live within the school’s walking boundaries or outside district boundaries may be considered for bus route assignments beginning in September, based on availability.
Waitlists
When a route reaches its legal capacity, additional registrations for that area will be placed on a waitlist. Families will see Waitlist listed in the Transportation tab of their student’s Infinite Campus account until a route becomes available, and all additional information will be added there as well. It is a goal of the Transportation Department to reduce the number of students on waitlists whenever possible. When a route does become available, families will receive a personal phone call from the Transportation Department letting them know their child has been assigned a route.
