The move to Managed AI is about more than just a new tool; it’s about safety, compliance, and intentional learning. While popular consumer tools like ChatGPT present "Shadow IT" risks—where data can be stored and used without district oversight—Gemini for Education is fully integrated into our existing, legally-vetted Google Workspace agreement. This ensures that our student and staff data remains private and protected within a secure "walled garden".

• Education Over Automation: We believe in AI as a "Learning Partner" rather than an "Answer Engine." Gemini is built with LearnLM, a model fine-tuned specifically for education to help students outline thoughts and deepen understanding rather than simply writing the essay for them.
