Postsecondary & Workforce Readiness
Ensuring students graduate with the skills, knowledge and employment connection to pursue careers that pay a household living wage is the goal of the Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness team. The team includes the Future Center, counselors and Career and Technical Education (CTE).
As career and workforce legislation and state-wide, industry-led programs bridge business certifications and work-based learning with in-school students, the role of this group is to maximize all industry provided resources by increasing WPS student participation in these programs and opportunities. Resources and programs include Concurrent Enrollment/ASCENT, CareerWise Colorado and Career Success Program.
