Universal Preschool

2025-2026 Registration is now open!

Registration for preschool is a two step process for 4-year-old students:

1. First, an application must be submitted through the Westminster Public Schools online registration portal.
2. Second step is to fill out the Colorado UPK application. 

Important Information

• All applications will be reviewed by the Early Childhood Education Department.  
• This process may take up to 4 - 6 weeks.
• Space is limited. 

4-Year-Old Applications

• Enrollment priority will be granted to 4-year-old families living inside the Westminster Public Schools borders.
• All 4-year-old families are required to submit a Westminster Public Schools online application and a Universal Preschool application.
• Please know the Universal Preschool application system will only accept applications for children who will be 4 years old before October 1st, 2025.
• Students who are missing an application will be moved to the waitlist.
• Students residing outside the WPS boundaries who do not qualify for the 30 hours of UPK funding will be assessed a monthly tuition fee of $450. 

3-Year-Old Applications

• 3-year-old applications must be submitted through Westminster Public Schools.  
• All general education placements for 3-year-olds include a monthly tuition fee
• Placements for 3-year-olds will be sent out in June.
