Tutoring

Thank you for your interest in helping the students of Westminster Public Schools (WPS) advance their learning outside of the traditional classroom. WPS is expanding its tutoring program to provide additional paid opportunities for qualified individuals who are committed to spending several hours a day/week with students in an individual or group setting.

Tutoring is rewarding work that can make a real difference in the life of a young person who needs additional support to reach their full potential. You do not have to be a licensed teacher to qualify. WPS will provide you with the training and skills so you can best help our students.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out a background authorization form and email it to   Jo Lynn Rife along with any education transcripts: jrife@wps.org

If you are a current tutor, you do not need to reapply. Please contact your previous building's Principal for more information on tutoring.
