ISC Principal Message
Welcome to the Instructional Services Center (ISC) Day Treatment. The Instructional Services Center (ISC) operates as part of Westminster Public Schools and is licensed by the State of Colorado Department of Human Services. Our vision is to assist students in learning personal and social skills to be successful at home, at school, and in the community. The ISC values a community of safety and respect in order to meet the mental health, social, and academic needs of our students. The ISC provides comprehensive and culturally sensitive academic and therapeutic services to male and female students, grades Kindergarten through twelfth grade. The program operates on the district-wide calendar with student hours of 6:50am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Students receive academic instruction in Math, Literacy, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Affective Education. The treatment services provided may include, but are not limited to, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and support services, and psychiatric consultation. Through the combination of treatment and academic instruction, our goal is to provide each student with the necessary skills to make healthy, positive life choices within the school setting and the community.
The Instructional Services Center (ISC) Day Treatment program supports the development of healthy relationships with the students’ peers and adults. We encourage each youth to feel a sense of belonging and to take pride in what they can contribute to the Instructional Services Center community. The staff at the Instructional Services Center (ISC) strives to help students to learn from one another and support each other to be strong, successful members of their families and of the community.
Sincerely,
Lesley Rodell, LCSW
